The BBQ sauce on the burgers are so sweet. The Mac and cheese balls were amazing. I had the New York baked cheesecake and it was a let down. The strawberry sauce was almost like jam. The consistency of the cheese cake itself wasn't pleasant. Almost like it was thawed from frozen. The location itself is beautiful. And the service was pleasant.
Talladega Grill is one of my new favorites in terms of fast food. I always look for some good steak and they have delivered. I had the Philly Cheese Steak and it was absolutely to die for. Their burgers are good, too. I love the fact that they have a food truck, which makes it easier for me to support them. Their restaurant in Imam Haron Road is decent. I usually get to the place and it's somewhat empty, which is fine with me.
Food was well prepared with good size portions. I ordered the smoked sliced brisket burger and a portion of the wings. The wings were spicy but I really enjoyed that. Hubby had a smoked chilli dog (this was AMAZEBALLS!!) definitely ordering 1 for myself the next time I go. And he also ordered a portion of chicken and waffles which was really good too. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Table was easily available. Parking was readily available as well.Edit: we ordered smash 'n brisket burgers, milkshakes and a kids cheese burger take away. The whatsapp ordering service was great and food was ready for collection when we arrived- just a 5-10 minute wait for the milkshakes to be made which was no issue. I was terribly disappointed by our food when when we got home and opened it. There were 2 dissmal slices of brisket on mine and my husbands burgers - I actually thought for a moment that it was the kids burger until I noticed the box marked kids in the packet.The chocolate milkshake was another disappointment being watery And just some artificial tasting chocolate syrup present in the milkshake. (The milkshake didn't even look like a chocolate milkshake)I am extremely disappointed as Talladega's was 1 of 2 places I buy a chocolate milkshake from.. Not sure I'm going back.
The sight of their burgers alone was delicious. The moment I opened the box, a wave of fresh chicken and sauces flooded my nostrils.A word of advice, eat the chips first. It's not that good when it's cold, and warming does not return it to it's former glory
